A NOTE FROM THE COMPOSER:

Working with Howard and Jon on THE DEAD 2 was another extraordinary journey. They have an incredible talent for realizing more than the eye can see. Experiencing their moving images always evokes a greater sense of awareness. Once again the Ford Brothers were passionately determined to share the beauty and wildness of the natural world with a wider audience by placing their story in India.

Unfolding the musical landscape in partnership with them is always an inspiring process. Amongst the talented musicians who contributed to the score I was excited to introduce a Rajasthani lullaby sung by the gifted Indian classical singer, Chandra Chakraborty. I hope you enjoy listening to the musical journey of THE DEAD 2 with as much pleasure as I had creating it.

We worked tirelessly to embellish The Dead 2 with heart and soul and take people on a unique journey across India, with fear and beauty around every corner. The music had to bring these elements to life and we are delighted with what Imran achieved with his magical and enchanting score. Working with Imran was one of the most rewarding elements of the production and the scope of his talent and his contribution to the film's spirituality and overall impact is honestly a marvel to behold. We hope you will be as moved and emoted by this score as we are.
